What’s the deal?
You will engage with clients from various sectors and investigate what their true data and information needs are. You will seek the question behind the question and the goals that the client wants to achieve. You translate client needs into processes, data warehouses, reports, and dashboards. You guide the client through the provided solutions and train the users of the BI tools. You share knowledge with your team members. You combine data analysis, data engineering, data visualization, and consulting. In short, a versatile and development-oriented role.
This is a position where you can develop yourself in height, depth, and breadth. We do this with experienced colleagues (including on-the-job training and knowledge sharing) and a solid training program. This ensures your growth and well-being. What can you bring?
- At least 5 years of experience as a BI or data consultant.
- Experience working from the line or on a project.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.</li> </ul>

At asqin, you work together with 40 experienced professionals within finance, data and business consultancy. The consultants are known for their knowledge and their own view of the profession and the sector. The consultants are given all the space to work as they want and work together to build a growing organization according to the formula: insights, improve and in control. To enable growth to 100 consultants and even more dream assignments, our interim & consultancy branch will enter the market with its own name in October 2024. So there is plenty of room for you to contribute to this!
We are looking at a 32 to 40-hour work week with a permanent contract. If you prefer traditional employment conditions, you can expect a starting salary between €5.000 and €6.500 gross per month, a good bonus scheme, a lease car or mobility allowance, hybrid working, a laptop, a mobile phone, and a budget for the items you need at home.
You can also choose our entrepreneurial employment conditions. In this case, the focus is on primary employment conditions, and your salary will be determined by the revenue you generate. We see this as co-entrepreneurship. How your entrepreneurial employment conditions are structured will be tailored to your needs. We will need to discuss this together.
How does it work?
Our job application process
One of our team members answers all your initial questions and then schedules a first interview when both sides think a match is present.
During your first meeting at one of our offices you will meet two team members. During this meeting we will answer all your questions and look at what you bring (in terms of competencies, personality, wishes and experiences) and what you are looking for (in a new position or organization).
During your second meeting, you meet two other team members. They are also curious about the questions you still have. Furthermore together we look at your future (where are your goals, what does your dream assignment look like and how do you get there) and the match with our culture (in which environment you will do best).
In this next conversation, you’ll sit down with someone from HR to discuss your employment terms and personal profile. Another match? Then we’re off to the final round!
