Finance & Business Control
Rotterdam

We’d love to hear from you. Leave your details and we will contact you.

Are you an accountant or finance professional looking for the freedom to work in your own way, from your own entrepreneurship? Make the transition and work as you wish. Together with experienced colleagues, you will deliver valuable insights and sector knowledge that clients are eager to engage with. With your curiosity, you discover the question behind the question; through your expertise, you solve problems and truly help CFOs and COOs move forward. Take the initiative in your own way.

What’s the deal?

You will engage with CFOs and COOs to explore their true needs. You will seek the underlying questions and the goals they aim to achieve. You translate the client’s needs into financial analyses, budgets, annual accounts, audits, finance and ERP projects, process improvements, and dashboards. You will share your insights and discuss developments in the sector with the client, as well as identify additional areas for improvement to maintain control. In short, it’s a versatile and customer-oriented role.

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance & control.
  • Experience from accounting, business, or consultancy.
  • Sector expertise in SMEs, healthcare, or housing corporations.
  • Experience with data visualization and process improvements.
  • Curious: You seek to uncover the question behind the question.
  • Sincere: You dare to give your opinion honestly and with commitment.
  • Team player: You enjoy working together.
  • Continuous improvement enthusiast: For both yourself and your clients.
At asqin, you work together with 40 experienced professionals within finance & business control, data & BI and business consultancy. The consultants are known for their knowledge and their own view of the profession and the sector. The consultants are given all the space to work as they want and work together to build a growing organization according to the formula: insights, improve and in control. To enable growth to 100 consultants and even more dream assignments, our interim & consultancy branch will enter the market with its own name from October 1st 2024. So there is plenty of room for you to contribute to this!

We offer a workweek of 32 to 40 hours and a permanent contract. Additionally, you can expect: a starting salary between € 5.000 and € 6.500 gross per month, an attractive bonus scheme, a company car or mobility allowance, hybrid working options, a laptop, mobile phone, and a budget for the home office essentials you may need. The starting salary is determined in consultation, and there is no salary ceiling.

This is a role where you can grow and develop vertically, horizontally, and in-depth. We achieve this with experienced colleagues (including on-the-job training and knowledge sharing) and a solid training program. This way, we ensure your growth and well-being.

How does it work?

Our job application process

One of our team members answers all your initial questions and then schedules a first interview when both sides think a match is present.

During your first meeting at one of our offices you will meet two team members. During this meeting we will answer all your questions and look at what you bring (in terms of competencies, personality, wishes and experiences) and what you are looking for (in a new position or organization).

During your second meeting, you meet two other team members. They are also curious about the questions you still have. Furthermore together we look at your future (where are your goals, what does your dream assignment look like and how do you get there) and the match with our culture (in which environment you will do best).

In this next conversation, you’ll sit down with someone from HR to discuss your employment terms and personal profile. Another match? Then we’re off to the final round!

A good match works both ways. You’ve asked all your questions—now it’s our turn. We’ll request a reference from someone you’ve worked with to better understand what makes you unique and where you shine.

We draw up the employment contract and accompanying statements and welcome you with open arms and thorough onboarding. Time to be asqin.
