Smart Solutions Through Critical Questions
Amanpreet is proud of her most recent project, where she worked as a Business Analyst on the SBL project at CBOE. “It was my first time working on a Capital Markets project,” she shares. “Asking the right questions and truly understanding what was needed made it possible to independently manage the project in a short time. It was a real challenge, but the feeling that you’ve created a solution that is not only understood but also adds value is incredibly rewarding,” Amanpreet says.
The Power of Asking Questions
Amanpreet strongly believes in the value of curiosity at asqin. She explains, “Asking the right questions is essential to arrive at smart insights.” She emphasizes the importance of always digging deeper, reconsidering existing facts, and thoroughly understanding the root causes of a problem. This process helps her not only improve internal processes but also find strategic and valuable solutions for clients.
“In many cases, you discover that the original question isn’t the real challenge,” she explains. “In one project for a client, we found that the issue wasn’t about a new application but better reporting. By making that switch, we developed a reporting tool that was faster, cheaper, and more widely applicable. It was a creative solution made possible only through intensive team collaboration.”
From Emerging Talent to Strategic Force
Through collaboration and continuous learning, Amanpreet has developed from an emerging talent into a strategic player. “There is always room for growth and for asking new, challenging questions,” she says. Her curiosity and analytical mindset have not only contributed to her own career but also to the success of asqin as a whole.
