Three Times in a Row – Three Times Workplace Happiness at asqin

Starting fresh at a new employer is always exciting — and a little nerve-wracking. Yasin, Gido, and Max recently made the switch to asqin and share their experiences from their first few months and how they were welcomed into the team.

What made these three professionals choose asqin? And what is it about the company and its work culture that made them feel at home right away?

The First Introduction

Each of them found their way to asqin in their own unique way. Gido, for example, had spent years working in the financial sector at major banks. His journey to asqin started in an unexpected place: on a train. “During a cooking workshop with ABN AMRO, I struck up a conversation with Gilbert. His enthusiasm about asqin was so contagious that I thought, ‘I want this too!’” Gido recalls.

For Yasin, the move to asqin was mainly driven by a desire for connection. He missed the engagement with his employer and the feeling of truly being part of an organization. At asqin, things felt different from the start. “They were genuinely curious about me, and I immediately felt welcome,” he shares.

Max had already come across asqin several times before and, after a great first conversation, started his journey with confidence. He was curious about the new challenges and the kinds of projects he’d be working on. His experience confirms what many colleagues at asqin feel: it’s a place where curiosity is encouraged and where you get the space to grow.

A Great Start

From day one, all three noticed—each in their own way—how open and welcoming the atmosphere at asqin was. Yasin recalls how everyone immediately came over to introduce themselves. He felt at home right away. For Gido, the start was a bit more nerve-wracking. He needed some time to adjust and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But with the support of his mentor and several colleagues, he quickly gained confidence.

So, what makes asqin different from other employers? For Max, Gido, and Yasin, it’s all about the combination of freedom, responsibility, and a strong sense of connection. They’re given the space to carve out their own path, but they’re never on their own. The open culture and mentorship within asqin ensure that colleagues are always learning from and supporting one another. That balance between independence and guidance is what makes working at asqin so unique. As Gido puts it: “The personal attention and the chance to bounce ideas off others really won me over.”

Growth Doesn’t Happen Alone

At asqin, we believe it’s important that everyone feels supported in their work. Whether you’re just starting out or have been with us for a while, it’s essential to feel free to ask questions and seek help when you need it. Yasin, Gido, and Max experience that support every day. “I get help whenever I need it. My mentor is always there for me, and that means a lot,” says Yasin.
