My colleague Anne called me and asked if I was available at short notice. The Controller of the organization where Anne was working on an assignment was leaving and she asked if I could come and support her.” And that’s how we work at asqin: we tackle and do it together. Getting started at MO the asqin way
Maja says she was immediately enthusiastic during her introduction. “There was a nice atmosphere right away and the client was very flexible. They thought along and gave me the freedom to use my expertise to ensure efficient cooperation.” At asqin, we are all-in; we tackle. So does Maja: “I immediately started taking over tasks and started hands-on within Social Care. My knowledge lies within the healthcare sector and I immediately started looking at how I could optimize these processes.” Maja and Anne made agreements with third parties to better manage cash flow and optimized the processes for care provided in subcontracting, coordinating this with all parties involved.

A small organization, but big impact
“At relatively small organizations, your impact can be big. Lines of communication are short, and I always want to make the most of them. On the other hand, the distance between the supporting departments and the primary process can be perceived as great. I think it’s really cool that we as interim staff can play a role in this and add value to make this internal process run better.” – Maja

We asked Maja what made her most curious during this assignment. “The organization was growing, and it appeared that certain processes needed to be set up more efficiently and that controls needed to be built in to continue to ensure the completeness of the care provided.” Maja’s enthusiasm increased as soon as she started talking to management and was able to take on a nice advisory role from here. While coaching, she and Anne helped the team take steps forward to familiarize them with the new systems and perform their daily work better and more efficiently.

We are always curious to know the question behind the question, so too with Maja. Why asqin and why Maja: “Be eager, be sharp, grow together in success. Motivation, sharpness, enthusiasm and curiosity are qualities that are relevant to me as a Consultant, but that are also found in such a growing organization. And all that with rock-solid cooperation; a term that sounds so obvious, but in the end this is really the key to success for me.”
