Work where you want
One of the advantages of working at asqin is that you can work where you want, when you want. Whether you’re at home, in a coffee shop or even at the beach, as long as you have a good internet connection, you can get to work. This flexibility gives you the freedom to coordinate your work environment with your personal life, which is a huge plus when it comes to my work happiness. Anne Boer is a great example of this; she explains, “I did an interim assignment in Denmark for almost a year. One week I worked from Denmark, and the other week from the Netherlands. This assignment made me feel challenged, free and allowed me to develop myself.”
Work when you want
Not only is the location flexible, but also how the work gets done. Paul: “I can arrange my day the way I want. Whether I start early or later in the day, I set my own pace. For me, this means that I can maximize and tune my productive moments. For example, a good example of this is that I block a moment in my calendar to exercise, and catch up an hour in the evening.”
Work how much you want
At asqin, we have the freedom to choose how much we work. “Whether I run a full-time week, or just take it easy for a few days, it’s all negotiable. Some weeks I work extra hours, and other weeks I enjoy an afternoon off. This flexibility allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance, something that is hugely important to me and something I value greatly,” Desiree says.
Are you online?
Much of our work is done digitally, which means we always have access to the data we need, wherever we are. Our customers also often work online and use SaaS solutions, which makes for smooth collaboration. Mark: “Last year I was on workstation in Austria. Here I opened my laptop for several hours every day and followed up my day with a wonderful run down the slopes. This way I was easily accessible to my client while also enjoying the beautiful nature, the sun on the slopes and my company. By combining working where, when and how much you want, you are so flexible that you determine your life. The ideal combination, according to Mark.”
