Just asqin for?
Full speed ahead, always
At asqin, you go full steam ahead, and Sabijn did just that. She began her journey during a crucial phase in the company, the rebranding. “I grabbed this project with both hands from the first moment and have not let go,” she says. For her, it’s about more than just her passion for marketing and communications. “Not only during this project, but throughout the organization it’s about collaboration, development and balance. That’s why I get energy every time to go for it full force,” Sabijn says.
Working hard, jumping high and landing softly
Coming home to a new industry
“I experienced the power of collaboration from the beginning. Although I was new to the financial sector, everyone was there for me to show me the way. That not only gave me confidence, but it also ensured that I learned a lot in a short period of time.” At asqin, everyone helps each other – whether sparring on a project or just keeping each other on their toes with new ideas. “We work hard, jump high, but always ensure a soft landing, which allows us to maintain this pattern.” – Sabijn
Balance is key
Working and running
In addition to her professional development, work-life balance plays a crucial role in Sabijn’s job happiness. Sport is an important part of her life, and thanks to the freedom she gets at asqin, she can combine it perfectly with her work. “That balance ensures that I enjoy going to work every day, and I see that reflected in the results,” she says. Sabijn feels appreciated, not only by the freedom she gets, but also by the space to continue to develop herself in whatever direction. “Anything is possible, as long as you dare to ask the questions and seize the opportunities yourself,” she explains. That curiosity drives Sabijn to keep pushing herself and asqin forward.
asqin you the last question?
We asked Sabijn what last question we should ask her. She adds: “The last question I would ask is, ‘Can you be the best version of yourself at and through your work environment?’” Naturally, we were curious as to why this is Sabijn’s question and what her own answer to it is. “For me it is important that I can be myself, that I can develop myself and that I am appreciated for who I am and what I can bring to the organization. I get the freedom to do what makes me happy, both privately and work-related. That trust from both sides makes for a strong relationship with tremendously fine future prospects.” – Sabijn
